		<description>Very much too late, during his speech Musharraf has announced he will resign.  While true the president as described in the constitution is &quot;ceremonial&quot;, we all can agree that Musharraf was much more then &quot;ceremonial&quot; in his powers.  And this is not a good time to lose that power.</description>

		<description>Too little, too late, I fear. I think the assemblies may well bring back their own version of the NRO once Musharraf is gone. Surely Zardari must have got Sharif&#039;s assurance for his support for such a move in case Musharraf scraps the NRO.

Amongst a string of bad decisions over the last couple of years, the NRO must surely stand as one of Musharraf&#039;s worst. Bringing back the likes of Zardari in a desperate attempt to save himself set a terribly bad precedent.</description>
